A high-light for many travelers that visiting Morocco! This beautiful area in the mountains of Agadir can be visited in a daytrip. Between the high mountains flows a stream that supplies palm trees and plants with water. The oase is green and the river between the mountains offers places to go swimming, sunbathing and even cliffjumping!

There are multiple companies that offering daytrips to Paradise Valley. Our daytrip to Paradise valley is unique because we’ll go off the beaten road and try to find unique places where no other tourists comes. You can also go by yourself to Paradise Valley but take care of yourself and look out for dangers!

On top of the mountain of Agadir is the ancient castle of Agadir. It is still very well preserved after the earthquake of 1960. You can take a taxi up to visit the ruin. From here you have a beautiful view over the big city Agadir and the boulevard.

The sun all year round asks for a visit to the beach! Agadir’s elongated beach is ideal for beach tourists. Jet skis are available for rent, parasols and sun loungers are available on Agadir Beach. Along the beach is the boulevard with plenty of eateries where you can order something to eat or drink. Enough fun things for a day of beach fun in Agadir!

Coastal resort Agadir is not located near the Sahara. Therefore, your stay in Agadir seems difficult to combine with a visit to the Sahara. However, not everybody has the time (and the inclination) to do a multi-day trip and to drive many hundreds of kilometres to visit the Sahara.

Taghazout is 30 minutes away by car. The village is mainly known among surfers and hippies because of the good waves and relaxed atmosphere. A day trip to Taghazout is great fun because you have seen the village in a few hours and you can take the most beautiful pictures. Go out for dinner in one of the many restaurants on the coast. Don’t forget to go for a swim on the beach, but move a few kilometers to the north or south because the water in Taghazout is often polluted.

Not only the city of Agadir is a great holiday destination. The surroundings of Agadir are also really beautiful and you have many options for going on a roadtrip. Head north towards Essaouira where you can discover countless beaches and coastal towns. Head towards the mountains for beautiful oases and mountainviews, or head south to discover a very peaceful and traditional agricultural area. One thing is for sure, there is always something to see and discover, you will not get bored! Be careful while driving in Morocco, the roads can be bad and fellow road users are not always experienced and knowledgeable drivers. You will also regularly encounter horse and carriage on the road, crossing street dogs, very slow moving trucks and children playing along the road.
