By making surfing possible for the children, they can develop their self-confidence enlarge. During the surf lessons, the children also learn a lot in a playful way. This is how to get English lessons, they learn the importance of studying and work on their motivation. Things that really important for their later life! The last surf lesson day you will be prepared for the project. During this project you work together with the surf instructors and you can give one on one guidance to the kids. You will help in the water with the kids, helping push the surfboards from the children, motivate the children, help with the games and teach simple English to
the children, for example by having a short conversation with the child.
Legzira beach clean up
As surfers and travelers we love the ocean. All life comes from the sea. Unfortunately there comes more and more plastic for the ocean, which poses a major threat to the entire “system de soil”. Unfortunately, a lot of plastic comes from Africa. Third world countries where waste disposal system is not yet sufficiently in order, and where the unskilled population does not have the knowledge about the danger of plastic. Especially in countries where until recently we mainly ate from our own garden became, but now that more and more plastic is around the food is a great danger. We are going help clean up a beach in the area. We won’t just be the beach leave it clean, we also raise awareness among the local population.

Morocco is a Muslim country and modesty is respected. On the beach you can wear bikini’s and shorts, but you can’t be nude. For girls: On the streets wearing a range of clothing it’s best to err on the side of modesty. In Taghazout and Tamraght the locals are very used of tourists, so you can wear dresses, shorts, open shoulders etc. For men: we recommend to cover their upper body in public area. Morocco is an arid climate, much like California. The day times are warm and the evenings can get quite cool, especially in the winter. Homes and buildings are built in such a way that they keep cool in summer and (kind of) stay warm in winter. So while it may be 100F outside, if you’re inside a home or building it can be quite cool. Bring also clothes that keep you warm!
In Morocco they pay with Dirhams. 1 euro is around 10 dirhams. In most of the countries its difficult to get Moroccan Dirhams. We recommend changing money once here or using your ATM card. You will find exchange facilities and ATMs in the airport to get money out. You can also find ATMs in Agadir or Awrir. Surf Paradise Morocco don’t accept travellers cheques!
We start to explain a funny fact: Tamraght is a dry town. This means that no store will sell alcohol here… But(!!) that does not mean that you can’t get alcohol. Alcohol is available in Agadir, in restaurants, cafe’s and you can buy it in the shop. It is allowed to drink alcohol in the surfcamp and it is nice to enjoy a drink after a good day surfing. You can also buy duty free before departing in the airport.
We get a lot of questions from girls wanting advice and looking for information on how to have a safe, trouble-free surf holiday in Morocco. Morocco is one of the most tolerant Muslim countries. You’re not the first woman to visit Morocco. Agadir and the Area of Tamraght is a European touristic destination and the locals will not be shocked by much. however we ask that all our clients respect local customs. Our advice to our women guests: Dress modest, be aware (don’t go alone on the streets at night, don’t carry large sums of cash. ) and ignore people if you get comments. As woman you can wear swimwear on the beach and dresses on the streets, this is no problem!
Yes! If you have your own surfequipment you may bring it and you. Check your airline for the possibilities to bring your board on the flight.
Most of the participants do the surf instructor course alone, but you can definitely come together! You will be in the same group and we can reservate the same room for you.
