Surfing on your holiday:
During your one week holiday you will be surfing for 5 days. On this days you can choose to join the beginner surflessons, the surfcoaching sessions for intermediate surfers or the surfguidings for advanced surfers.
We are in and around the water every day for at least 6 hours. So there is enough time to surf as long as possible! The lessons are provided by pro-surfer Zouhir Houmay and his team.

Explore the best waves, surf at breathtaking beaches, waking up with sunrise surfsessions or ending the day with a sunset surfsession. With the Surf & Stay package you can surf as much as possible, you stay in the surfcamp where there is always nice things to do and great people to meet. And in the same time you have freedom to create your own plan after the surf!
The program
Wanna learn how to surf or improve your surfing in no-time? Then this package suits you perfectly! There are 5 surfdays with endless of surftime and surfcoaching to get you on that board! The 2 other days are there to explore the area and do some fun other activities.
Our surfing schedule changes daily as the surfing conditions change daily. To give you an idea here a typical surf day at our surfcamp:

In your package there are 5 surfdays included. At your check-in you choose your level. Also the surfequipment rental is included in this package.
Besides the surf there are a lot of extra activities organised in the surfcamp witch you can join: Once a week we make a expedition to Paradise Valley. On saturday we have a Moroccan night. Sunday is the day that we visit the souks of Agadir, and on Monday we make a trip to the small Sahara. We also organise Moroccan cooking classes and capoeira workshops!
Beginner surflessen
Heb je nog nooit gesurft of slechts een paar keer? Geen probleem! In onze beginnerslessen leer je de basis van het surfen in 3 makkelijke stappen. (onze 3-stappen methode) Met de goede basis kun je snel vooruitgang boeken en sta je binnen de kortste keren op je board, rijdend op je eerste golf! De beginners surflessen zijn toegankelijk voor elke leeftijd, (Kinderen vanaf 7 jaar) niveau of ervaring. Het belangrijkste is dat je kunt zwemmen en dat je plezier hebt in de oceaan!
In het begin van de dag beginnen we op het strand om op het droge te oefenen en de essentiële surftheorie te leren. We kiezen onze surfspots altijd zeer zorgvuldig uit: we surfen op surfspots die geschikt zijn voor jouw niveau. Na de theorie gaan we samen met de surftrainer het water in, de surftrainer zal je helpen om op je board te staan en golven te pakken. Voor je het weet ben je stoked van de branding!
Intermediaire surfcoaching
Je hebt ervaring met surfen. Misschien heb je een tijdje niet gesurft en wil je een nieuwe start maken. Je gaat mee met de professionele coaching in het water van een pro-surfer. Samen met hem werk je aan je vaardigheden om je surf te verbeteren, grotere golven te pakken, paddeling makkelijker te maken, te leren duckdiven en meer boardcontrol te hebben. Misschien wil je ook wat trics leren!
De instructeurs
Hoi! Ik ben Tarik, een gemotiveerde en gepassioneerde surfer die altijd lacht haha! Wil je leren surfen? Ik zal je op je board krijgen en op je eerste golven laten rijden in no-time! Kom naar mijn surflessen en je zult naast het leren surfen ook een hoop lol hebben. In mijn vrije tijd repareer ik graag kapotte surfplanken en maak ik ontwerpen op surfplanken.
Dive into the ocean with me! I’m Salah and maybe the most quiet one of the group but I really enjoy it to see you in some waves. I have a lot of patience in the water what is very important if you are choosing the right waves. After surf I like to drink some Moroccan tea during sunset, you are welcome to join! 🙂

Ik heb ons kleine en gezellige surfcamp opgezet in Marokko samen met mijn man: Zouhir, die ook nationaal surfkampioen en pro-surfer is. Samen met ons team verwelkomen we je graag en laten we je niet alleen de toeristische kant van Marokko zien maar ook het rauwe en pure Marokko dat ook erg mooi is! Wij hebben ervaren dat het allemaal draait om de mooie mensen die je onderweg ontmoet, de fantastische herinneringen die je maakt en het eindeloze plezier dat je hebt gehad dat een vakantie onvergetelijk maakt. Of course, we spend most of our time on the beach surfing, but after surfing we come back to our surf camp in on the foothills of the Anti Atlas in Tamraght. Here you will definitely be able to continue enjoying your surf & stay holiday! Your accommodation in the surf camp is included in the price and that’s a great plus. You will literally jump into a world that is all about surfing. The surfcamp is located near the beach and from the top floor you have a beautiful view over the sea and the waves. You can meet like minded surfers while staying in the surcamp, join the theory lessons in the evening and learn much more in an environment that is all about surfing!

We are a small-scale surfcamp. This means no big groups but a quiet peaceful stay in nature where you can really meet other guests. As a solo traveller on holiday to Morocco, you can stay in our shared room where you can meet other surfers to share the great adventures with others. For families, couples and groups of friends, we have private rooms where you can retreat and reminisce about the day’s surfing.

The rooms have European beds, closets, and hot showers. Also all the rooms have their unique traditional moroccan style. Enjoy the beautiful common areas such as the rooftop terrace. Watch the sunset while drinking a Moroccan tea and meeting other like-minded surfers. A small tip from us: you definitely need to try our fresh made delicious smoothies that our surfcamp restaurant is offering!

De surfweek is geschikt voor kinderen vanaf 7 jaar omdat de activiteiten echt toegankelijk zijn voor kinderen. Families zijn welkom in het surfkamp!
Met meer dan 330 dagen zon per jaar kun je Tamraght het hele jaar door bezoeken. In de winter (dec-feb) zijn er een aantal sterke golven voor de gevorderde surfers, u heeft dan de kans om op de grote beroemde golven van Marokko te surfen! In de zomer zijn er kleine of medium golven, deze zijn meer geschikt voor beginners. In de winter zijn de temperaturen rond de 15-20 graden en de watertemperatuur is rond de 15 graden. De regen is zeldzaam in dit gebied, dus je hebt het hele jaar door mooi weer!

Buiten het hoogseizoen: Juni - Sep.
Het hele jaar door werkt de swell hier wel ergens in het gebied van Tamraght. Wil je de grote golven zien of surfen die je op de films online ziet? Dan moet je ons zeker bezoeken tijdens de winter. Maar je zal altijd een geweldige surf krijgen en we zijn het hele jaar open.
Marokko is een islamitisch land en bescheidenheid wordt er gerespecteerd. Op het strand mag je bikini's en shorts dragen, maar je mag niet naakt zijn. Voor meisjes: Op straat kunt u verschillende kledingstukken dragen, maar het is het beste om je bescheiden op te stellen. Voor mannen: wij raden aan om in openbare ruimtes het bovenlichaam te bedekken. Marokko heeft een droog klimaat, vergelijkbaar met Californië. Overdag is het er warm en 's avonds kan het behoorlijk afkoelen, vooral in de winter. Huizen en gebouwen zijn zo gebouwd dat ze in de zomer koel blijven en in de winter (min of meer) warm. Dus terwijl het buiten 100F kan zijn, kan het binnen in een huis of gebouw behoorlijk koel zijn. Neem ook kleding mee die je warm houdt!
In Marokko betalen ze met Dirhams. 1 euro is ongeveer 10 dirhams. In de meeste landen is het moeilijk om aan Marokkaanse Dirhams te komen. Wij raden je aan hier een keer geld te wisselen of uw pinpas te gebruiken. Op de luchthaven vindt je wisselkantoren en geldautomaten om geld te wisselen. U kunt ook geldautomaten vinden in Agadir of Awrir. Surf Paradise Morocco aanvaardt geen reischeques!
We beginnen met een grappig feit uit te leggen: Tamraght is een droge stad. Dit betekent dat geen enkele winkel hier alcohol verkoopt... Maar(!!) dat betekent niet dat je geen alcohol kunt krijgen. Alcohol is verkrijgbaar in Agadir, in restaurants, cafe's en je kunt het kopen in de winkel. Het is toegestaan om alcohol te drinken in het surfkamp en het is lekker om na een goede dag surfen een drankje te nuttigen. Je kunt ook duty free kopen voor vertrek op het vliegveld.
We krijgen veel vragen van vrouwen die advies willen en informatie zoeken over hoe ze een veilige, probleemloze reis in Marokko kunnen maken, en wat ze moeten weten. Marokko is een van de meest tolerante moslimlanden. Je bent niet de eerste vrouw die Marokko bezoekt. Agadir en de streek van Tamraght is een Europese toeristische bestemming en de plaatselijke bevolking zal er niet van schrikken. toch vragen wij al onze klanten om de plaatselijke gebruiken te respecteren. Ons advies aan onze vrouwelijke gasten: Kleed je bescheiden, wees bewust (ga 's nachts niet alleen over straat, draag geen grote sommen contant geld. ) en negeer commentaar.
Ja! Als je je eigen surfequipment hebt, mag je die meenemen. Informeer bij uw luchtvaartmaatschappij naar de mogelijkheden om uw board mee te nemen op de vlucht.
Wij kunnen u op de reserveringslijst noteren, zodat wij u op de hoogte kunnen brengen zodra er weer een plekje vrij is!
We really love to get to know everybody and offer a personal unique service. That is why we have place for maximum 20 persons in our surfcamp.
We verwelkomen heel vaak alleenreizenden in onze gedeelde kamer. De gemiddelde leeftijd in de gedeelde kamer is tussen de 20 en 35 jaar oud. Er zijn zowel mannen als vrouwen die alleen reizen.
in onze prive-kamers verwelkomen wij koppels, vrienden en in de zomer veel gezinnen.
We zijn geen party surfcamp, dus geen feestjes de hele nacht door, we houden van een drankje na etenstijd en het is altijd mogelijk om uit te gaan in Agadir.
Van 22:00 - 08:00 vragen we onze gasten stil te zijn.
